Bengaluru/Hassan: The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) on April 17, dismissed the petition filed by Hassan Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri against the transfer order passed by the state government.

On March 7, Sindhuri was transferred as Commissioner of Department of Employment and Training by the state government.

Following the transfer order, she moved CAT against it which however, had asked her to submit a representation to the state chief secretary on the matter.

Meanwhile, State Additional Advocate General (AAG) A S Ponnanna contended on behalf of the state government that the transfer order was as per norms. However, opposing that, Advocate Subramanya Jois representing DC Rohini argued her transfer was “intentional.”

CAT dismissed DC Rohini’s plea and upheld her transfer order issued earlier. Speaking on her behalf, Advocate Subramanya Jois hinted at filing a writ petition in the state HC against the CAT order on April 19.
