Bengaluru: A businessman who had purchased a luxury car could beam a smile only for a while. Within 12 hours of purchase, the car which cost around Rs 20 lakh was stolen leaving the owner in the state of shock.
Prabhu Krishna Swamy, a resident of HAL II Stage had bought the car on Tuesday evening. After performing pooja, the car was parked in the parking lot of his house. However, a lone robber targeted the duplex of Swamy late on Tuesday evening. The robber who opened the cupboard of the house found two diamond rings and also the new car key and fled with the same.
The family came to know of the theft only on Wednesday morning when Prabhu woke up for a walk and found his car missing. Immediately, he lodged a complaint with Indiranagar police who are presently probing the case.
