Bengaluru: BJP state unit President BS Yeddyurappa has suggested to BJP national president Amit Shah to give the ticket toTejaswini Anant Kumar, wife of late union minister Ananth Kumar from Bengaluru South Lok Sabha constituency.
According to the BJP sources, BSY had sent a list of 28 candidates for all the Lok Sabha constituencies of the state for the upcoming election. “For Bengaluru South constituency, which was represented by late Ananth Kumar all these years, BSY suggested Tejaswini’s name,” said a BJP leader.
Tejaswini is yet to make her decision public. The BJP leaders are hopeful that she will contest from her husband’s constituency.
