Bengaluru: BSP state president Hariram A has informed that party supremo Mayawati will hold a rally in Mysuru city today at 1 pm.
It is the first rally of Mayawati in the state, after the announcement of the Lok Sabha election date.
The BSP is opening its account in the state in this election with more focus on Chamarajanagar SC reserve constituency.
“The event will start at 10.30 am, but Mayawati will arrive at 1 pm,” he said adding that she has reached Mysuru on Tuesday. The BSP has fielded its candidates in Chamarajanagar, Mysuru, Hassan and the Mandya Lok Sabha constituencies of the South Karnataka.
