Bengaluru: Former union minister Anant Kumar Hegde, who is the MP from Uttara Kannada district has been in limelightf or his controversial statements. The latest addition to this is his opinion on the state-run BSNL.
The MP has said that the BSNL is filled anti-nationals.
His statement comes amidst reports from across the district against the poor network connectivity, internet issues etc.
“We sent over 85,000 employees to their home. Still no one learnt any lessons. The company is not helping the people in any way. Network issues are escalating in the interior areas. Officers are not responding,” he charged.
Speaking to the reporters in Kumta, he also stated that privatisation is the only solution.
He alleged that the company officials are not responding to any grievances.
