Bengaluru: A day after Karnataka High Court blocked his entry into the state cabinet, the BJP state unit has decided to move Supreme Court seeking relief for MLC AH Vishwanath.

Minister Ramesh Jarakiholi and revenue minister R Ashok informed that all those who quit their parties and came to the BJP, thus helping in the formation of BJP government in the state will be extended all the support.

“We will move the Supreme Court at the earliest on HC order,” informed R Ashok in Chamarajanagar .

Speaking to the reporters, he stated that this judgement is not a setback. “We are confident that Vishwanath who sacrificed for the formation of the government will get a chance to join the cabinet,” he said.

Meanwhile, former minister SR Mahesh, a bete noire of Vishwanath welcomed the HC judgement. “Vishwanath has never done politics of principles,” he alleged.
