Bengaluru: The State unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to bring out constituency-specific election manifesto for 224 Assembly constituencies in the state.
BJP national general secretary P. Muralidhar Rao said that that the party would also bring out a vision document for the entire State.
He said party top leaders including national president Amit Shah and State president B.S. Yeddyurappa besides all the candidates would seek suggestions from the general public by carrying a suggestion box in public places in a symbolic gesture to tell people that their views would be upheld.
Already, the party had elicited views from about 1.5 lakh people on issues to be included in the poll manifesto in 200 constituencies under the Nava Karnataka Janapara Shakti campaign.
In addition, about three lakh people had sent in suggestions through SMSs, while 2.5 lakh people had forwarded suggestions through emails or through social media, he said.
