Bengaluru: In a move, which is analyzed as the final effort by the BJP to form a government in Karnataka, party high command summoned all the 104 MLAs of the state to New Delhi. As per sources, these MLAs have been directed to stay in Delhi between January 11 and 14.
A senior BJP MLA confirmed the developments. “The BJP high command wants to ensure that coalition government will fall before the general election. The party state unit president BS Yeddyurappa is suspecting that few MLAs of the party may be in touch with Congress strongman DK Shivakumar and CM HD Kumaraswamy. So, all the MLAs have been directed to visit New Delhi,” he said.
