Bengaluru: In a political development in the BJP State Unit, the party high command has asked Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa to convene the meeting of the legislature party at the earliest.
According to the sources, party is likely to replace BSY at the earliest after this meeting. In the recent cabinet meeting, BSY himself informed the ministers that he is asked to convene the meeting.
“Meeting likely to be held in the first week of June,” explained a MLA to News Karnataka.
According to the BJP sources, a section of party leaders led by Tourism Minister C. P. Yogeshwar is lobbying hard for change in the CM.
