Bengaluru: In a big embarrassment to the BJP state unit, former minister and one of the senior most leaders of the party Revunayak Belamagi has alleged that his own party men are trying to assassinate him.
Speaking to reporters, Belamagi alleged that those who are trying for the party ticket from Kalaburugi Rural assembly constituency are behind this attempt.
According to Belamagi, on May 20 of this year his Innova car met with an accident. “This incident happened near Chinchanasura village. This accident areas was not accident zone and it was plain road. In this accident I only sustained injury. Driver was safe. After the incident , the driver is absconding. Now I come to know that it was a murder attempt,” he said.
He clarified that he is a committed worker of the party and let the party decide who will be the next candidate for Kalaburugi Rural assembly constituency.
