Bengaluru: Everyone dreams of a house of their own, but not everyone gets a chance to see their dream materialise.
It was the same dream that businessman Shrinivasa Gupta from Bhagayanagar in Koppala and his beloved wife KVN Madhavi had dreamt of, but before this dream could become a reality, Madhavi passed away.
Grieving over the loss, when Gupta’s new house was ready, he decided to keep memories of his wife alive through a silicon statue and on August 8, as the house opened doors for guests, everyone was left awestruck as they could see Madhavi sitting on a couch welcoming them with a smile.
The silicon statue is so realistic that the guests could hardly believe that Madhavi is no more.
Clad in a resplendent pink saree, Gupta and family clicked pictures with ‘Madhavi’. Even the guests thronged to click pictures with Madhavi, who would have probably been seen smiling on this day if she was alive.
A tragic road mishap on July 5, 2017 had claimed Madhavi’s life. While Gupta and his two daughters took long to come to terms with the loss, they made sure Madhavi’s wish was fulfilled.
The Gupta family’s gesture speaks volumes of the love they have nurtured for Madhavi, who now lives on as a beautiful memory.
