Bengaluru: A major shuffle has taken place in the state cabinet and if the sources are to be believed then, the Health Ministry that was in the hands of B Sriramulu has been given to Minister for Medical Education Dr Sudhakar.
As per sources, B Sriramulu will now handle the Social Welfare Department, while Dr Sudhakar will have additional charge of Health Miistry.
The Social Welfare Department was under Deputy Chief Minister Govind Karjol and with the change, Karjol will have only Public Works Department under him.
After the Corona pandemic broke out, many had criticised Sriramulu as Dr Sudhakar was seen taking the front seat very often. However, it is believed that Sriramulu himself had asked for the Social Welfare Department.
