Bengaluru: Bengaluru traffic is infamous in the south. While many curse and swear, some give up and wait for that one chance to break free from the metallic queue.
A Bengaluru-based techie by the name Roopesh Kumar Verma recently became an internet sensation for his unique solution to the city’s traffic menace.
As a show of protest against the traffic problems of the crowded city, Verma rode a horse to his office with a board hanging from the saddle that read: “Last working day as a software engineer m/”
“Fed up” of the traffic conditions in the city and after having lived here for eight years, Verma decided to take a horse to work on his last day. He left his residence in Mathikere at 7 AM and reached his office at the Embassy Golf Links at around 2 PM. Reportedly, he had been taking horse riding classes because of the city’s traffic menace.
While he was not looking for any attention, people who spotted him astride on his horse, took photos and circulated them on social media.
He has, however, clarified that his reasons for quitting his job had nothing to do with his traffic woes. His concerns lay with the pathetic conditions faced by those employed in the IT industry.
