Bengaluru: BBMP commissioner B H Anil Kumar has formed a dedicated team to prepare the documents on Bengaluru Vision 2050.
In his order, Anil Kumar appointed S L Rajanna, BBMP additional commissioner as the member secretary of the team.
“In line with Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa’s vision, we have taken the first step to prepare the Bengaluru Vision 2050 document by creating a separate City Planning wing. It will comprise of experts from the town planning department, who will put together a team to draft the document,” he said.
It can be recalled that previous governments also formed several task forces for city development. Most of these task forces failed to achieve the desired goal.
