Bengaluru: In a major political development the BJP high command has directed the party’s state general secretary to vacate the party’s state headquarters.
According to the reports, BJP national general secretary B L Santhosh directed state BJP general secretary Ravikumar to vacate the chambers given to him.
It can be noted that Ravikumar was given a chamber next to that of BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel on the fourth floor of the headquarter building ‘Jagannath Bhavan’, located in Malleshwaram.
According to party sources, Santhosh told Nalin to inform Ravikumar that, as all the legislators were given individual rooms in the ‘Shasakara Bhavan’, the latter is also expected to avail a room there.
Ravikumar brought this to Chief Minister BSY’s notice, who has not yet assured the former of taking up the issue with the party high command.
It can be recalled that, earlier, B L Santhosh had taken several decisions regarding every aspect of the BJP’s unit in co-ordination with Nalin, which irked BSY on several occasions.
