Bengaluru: Although MLA B C Patil had rebelled against Congress for not being inducted into the state cabinet, he had gone mum along with other rebel party leaders. However, yet again he has erupted against the Congress-Janata Dal (S) state coalition government for not inducting him in the cabinet.

Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, June 15, he said that he would have a discussion with all the other rebel Congress leaders and take a decision in the matter.

Patil has slammed the state coalition leaders stating that he had not won the assembly elections under anybody’s influence and stated that he had not mentioned or confirmed regarding his continuation in the party or exit.

“The time will answer everything”, he said.

According to reports, he may join another rebel party colleague MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi and team.

It may be noted that, earlier, B C Patil had no willingness to collaborate with Ramesh.

Yesterday, Ranebennur Assembly Constituency MLA G Shankar from the Karnataka Pragyavantara Janata Paksha (KPJP) and independent MLA Nagesh from the Kolar Assembly Constituency were inducted as the cabinet ministers. They had taken their oath as new ministers of the state coalition administered by Vajubhai Vala, Governor of Karnataka.

While they took oath, Chikkaballapur Assembly Constituency MLA Dr. Sudhakar K was also disappointed for not having been given any ministerial post. Now, he too is a rebel Congress leader.

Meanwhile, the state coalition sources have said that there would not be any cabinet expansion or reshuffling until December, this year.
