Bengaluru: While Twitter has been flooded with messages expressing shock and anguish at the killing of senior journalist Gauri Lankesh a tweet by Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja has created a controversy.
Immediately after the news of murder of Gauri Lankesh broke, Jadeja tweeted that intellectuals” who say it’s too early to blame Tharoor in Sunanda case, have passed their judgement in #GauriLankesh case within an hour. The tweet, however has not been made from the cricketer’s official Twitter account.
Meanwhile, BJP leaders have raised objections against dragging of BJP and RSS into the murder of Gauri Lankesh even before investigation.
Party state spokesperson, former minister S Suresh Kumar stated that rationales generally don’t believe anything without proof. But when it comes to their enemies, they give verdict without any proof.
Meanwhile, RSS state unit has issued a press release condemning the murder for Gauri Lankesh. In its press release, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Dakshin Madhya Kshetra Sanghachalak, V Nagaraj stated that “RSS expresses deep condolences and strongly condemns the brutal murder of journalist, Gauri Lankesh. RSS appeals the State Government to act soon on the criminals responsible and bring them to books through an impartial probe. RSS extends its deepest sympathies to the family of Gauri Lankesh.
