Bengaluru: In a big embarrassment to Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwar, ‘Parameshwar Hatao-Congress Bachao’ pamphlets were seen pasted on the walls of public buildings at many parts of Tumakuru city.
According to the eyewitnesses, unidentified youth pasted these pamphlets on the buildings on the BH road, BGS circle and Valmikinagar of the city. As the news spread, Parameshwar supporters rushed to the spot and removed all the pamphlets.
When contacted Parameshwar declined to answer. But according to the sources, the anti-Parameshwar group in the district Congress is behind these pamphlets. Many were against the DCM for surrendering the Tumakuru Lok Sabha constituency to the JDS in the recently concluded Lok Sabha election.
