Amulya Leona had Maoist links, claims CM BS Yediyurappa

Mysuru: Amulya Leona, the young girl who shouted out ‘Pro Pakistan’ slogan during an anti-CAA rally in Bengaluru on Thursday, in presence of AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi, had links with the Maoists, said Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa.

Addressing the reporters in Mysuru, he said that probe will be conducted in this direction.

“The intention behind such an act is to disrupt peace and harmony in the society. The probe will unearth details about the supporters of such acts and the hands that have played up behind the scenes. Action will be taken every individual and organisations that supported Amulya,” he said.

The girl has been booked under sedition charges and has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody.
