Bengaluru: Former minister, mining baron Gali Janardhana Reddy’s Chalukya Circle residence has been attached by Bengaluru Assistant Commissioner over the Ambident Scam.
Reddy was emotionally attached to this house as he had always said that this house was auspicious and lucky for him.
According to the authorities, the Bengaluru assistant commissioner attached the house of Gali Janardhana Reddy along with the properties of other accused in the case to return the Rs.600 crores collected from the investors.
“The court has given permission for the state government to attach these properties. In next one week the auction process will be taken up,” informed authorities.
Presently Gali Janardhana Reddy is out on bail in this scam.
It can be recalled that CCB police had arrested Reddy in connection with the scam in November 2018. It has been alleged that Reddy received 18 kilograms of gold from the company promoters to save them in this scam.
