Bengaluru: All the state universities including the University of Mysore (UoM), the Gulbarga University, the Mangalore University, the Karnataka University, Dharwad have postponed the semester examinations scheduled on Monday in respect of the union minister Ananth Kumar, who was passed away on Monday early morning.
An officer from the state higher education department informed that all the state universities have been directed to postpone the examinations scheduled on Monday as per the government order.
“Till now the authorities of the three universities confirmed the postponement,” he added.
Meanwhile, all the first-grade colleges and the pre-university colleges are also directed to postpone the regular examinations scheduled on Monday. “Today’s examination will be conducted on the last day of the examinations,” informed an officer from the Pre University Education.
