Bengaluru: Primary and Secondary Education minister S Suresh Kumar has made it clear that there is no question of re-opening the schools in a hurry.
The Minister also clarified that mo decision has been so far made on the class structure or utilising the empty government buildings for conducting classes.
His statement comes amidst reports that the state government is planning to restart the school by maintaining social distancing inside the class rooms. He denied all the news and stated that all are speculative in nature.
“We have asked all the stakeholders to make suggestions. All these suggestions will be put forth for discussion while taking the decision. No decision has been made yet on the school re-opening day, the class structure etc,” he stated.
Meanwhile, in a meeting with Suresh Kumar, MLCs elected from the teachers and graduates constituency urged the state government to conduct the SSLC examination.
