Bengaluru: War room in-charge, senior IAS officer Thulasi Maddineni informed that all the 17 Muslim employees who were serving at BBMP South Covid 19 war room will re- join the duty.
Earlier, all these 17 employees were humiliated by BJP MP Tejaswi Surya who read out their names in public and had alleged that they were part of the bed blocking scam.
But subsequent investigation confirmed that the allegations are baseless.
The outsourcing agency which provided these employees had requested the BBMP to re-admit them for the duty. BBMP has approved the proposal sent by the agency.
