Ahead of PM’s visit to Dharwad, state govt alleges that CM was not invited

Bengaluru: The state government had alleged that the central government has violated the protocol by not inviting CM HD Kumaraswamy to the groundbreaking ceremony of the new IIT campus at Dharwad.

PM Narendra Modi is laying the foundation stone for the new campus and building of the IIT Dharwad on Sunday at 5 pm.

Speaking to the reporters, the district in-charge minister SS Shivalli alleged that even though the state government handed over 600 acres of land free of cost none of the representatives of the state government has been invited for the event.

According to the BJP sources, 1 lakh chairs have been arranged for the PM’s rally, which will be held in the Dharwad on Sunday evening.
