Bengaluru: On the concluding day, of the Adamya Chetana Seva Utsav at Basavanagudi National College Ground which began on 31 -12 2014, Governor Vajubhai Vala during, Union Minister Ananthkumar, Adamya Chetana President Tejaswini Ananthkumar, Minister Ramalingareddy felicitated Women Scientists in recognition of their extensive contribution in India’s Space and Aerospace programmes.
On the second day of the festival, Scientists who were instrumental in the success of the Mangalyaan mission to Mars and other eminent scientists like Dr. U. R. Rao etc were felicitated in the presence of Poojya Sri Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji of Shri Suttur Math and Manohar Parrikar, Minister of Defense, Govt. of India, who was the chief guest
Earlier, Sri Visweshwaratheera Swamiji from Pejawar Mutt, Sri Nirmalanada Swamiji from Adichunchanagiri Mutt, inaugurated the Adamya Chetana Seva Utsav at Basavanagudi National College Ground on 31-12-2014. The Utsav hosted a space and aerospace exhibition, a Green lifestyle exhibition, felicitated scientists, hosted cultural programmes and competitions in various intellectual and cultural competencies, and took an oath for the nation.
