Bengaluru: Actress Shruthi Hariharan moved the High Court seeking squashing of First Information Report (FIR) registered against her by the cyber crime police in connection with her MeToo allegations against senior actor Arjun Sarja.
The Cyber crime police registered a case against Shruthi Hariharan based on a complaint lodged by Shiva Arjun, who is the manager of Arjun Sarja, alleging that she defamed his employer Arjun Sarja by making false allegations on the social media.
A cheating case was also included in the cyber crime police FIR.
In her petition to the High Court, Shruthi pointed out that when there was no business carried out between herself and Arjun Sarja, how can cheating case registered.
