Bengaluru: It seems turf is getting ready for second round of the bout between the coalition partners- the JDS and the Congress leaders. On Monday several senior Congress leaders including at least five ministers and a dozen MLAs met CM HD Kumaraswamy alleging that PWD minister HD Revanna transferred as many as 700 officers of the department, ranging from peon to the Chief Engineers across the state. They urged the CM to stall all the transfers immediately.

According to the sources, the Congress MLAs and ministers who met at the KPCC office on Queen’s Road communicated their displeasure over the Sunday night transfer to the party central leadership. Later, they also met the CM and raised serious objections on the way in which HD Revanna is running the department affairs.

“Two ministers warned the CM that if HD Revanna does not mend his way the government may fall any time,” said an MLA.

Revanna, who is also the brother of the CM had been in the news of late for wrong reasons. Recently he hit the headline for tossing biscuits at the flood victims at one of the relief camps.
