401 children infected with Covid-19 on April 21 in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: On Wednesday April 21, 401 children below the age of 9 are infected with Covid 19 in the city.

This data confirms the fear that in the Covid 19 second wave more and more children are getting infected which was not the case in the first wave. According to the data, on Wednesday April 21, 13,460 persons tested positive in the Bengaluru city. Among them 410 are in the age group of 0-9 years.

Highest number of persons infected are in the age bracket of 30 – 39 years with 3,475 persons testing positive. Paediatricians urged the parents not to expose the kids to Covid – 19 by ensuring that they don’t mix with the word.
