Bengaluru: Chief Minister Yediyurappa returned from Davos with good news not just for the ministerial berth hopefuls, but for the rest of Karnataka as well. On Saturday, January 25, during a press meet, the CM said that his visit to the World Economic Forum in Davos was successful as 40 international companies expressed interest in investing in the state.
At a press conference in the city, BSY said, “The visit proved to be a fruitful one. Over 40 international companies are interested in investing in Karnataka.”
Even the UAE showed interest in investing in the state, he added.
He then said that it is up to the states to gear up for high economic activities to bring life to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a $5-trillion economy.
