Bengaluru: The KSRTC strike entered its 12th day with no solution in sight.
As many as 2,929 staffs from KSRTC, BMTC, NEKRTC and NWKRTC got suspended and 1,054 employees got dismissed from the service.
Reports state that the highest number of employees suspended at BMTC marks up to 2,882. In addition to this, around 810 employees were dismissed from corporation.
Disciplinary action is taken against the employees under the provisions of the Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA).
The state government allowed the management to take necessary action. According to the sources, the strike expected to lose steam in the next couple of days.
