Bengaluru: Former higher education minister and BJP MLA Aravind Limbavali have been appointed as the Telangana state in-charge for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. He has been given the responsibility of implementing the party strategy in Telangana.
BJP national president Amit Shah has made this appointment.
Limbavali, BJP’s Dalit face in Karnataka has joined the party after serving the ABVP. Even though he is from Bagalkot district, he represents Mahadevapura assembly constituency in the state legislature. He has served in the cabinet of BS Yeddyurappa, DV Sadananda Gowda, and Jagadish Shettar as the higher education minister. He had also served as an MLC for one term.
