Bengaluru: In the last 8 days, as many as 160 children tested positive for Covid 19 in the city.
All these children are below 10 years of age. On Sunday alone 32 children tested positive. For the last few days, the number of children getting infected is increasing by the day.
This sudden rise in the number of Covid 19 cases among the children has caused concern among the parents. According to the sources, no cluster cases have been reported from any schools. However sudden increase in the infection among kids has posed a new challenge for the health and education department.
Meanwhile, the state government is likely to restart all the district level Covid 19 care centers to ensure that those who are living in the small houses will get separate facilities for home isolation.
