Bengaluru: A naming ceremony festival of 112 newborns will be held on the 112 birth anniversary (April 1) of late Shivakumara Swamiji of Siddaganga Mutt and as per sources, all the children will be named after the Swamiji.
Jayanna, president of the Dr Shivakumara Swamiji Devotees’ Association told in a press conference.
This program will be held on April 1, Thursday on the Siddaganga Mutt premises in Tumakur. Around 50 parents of the newborn children have already registered their names. March 27 is the last date for registration. People can call 9964507469 to register
Siddalinga Swamiji, president of the Siddaganga Mutt will be blessing the 112 newly named children.
According to reports, the children will be presented with cradle, a silver medal with Shivakumar Swamiji’s image, new dress and bed after the naming ceremony.
