Bengaluru: The BBMP which is facing public criticism against the poor handling of the victims of covid 19, is now planning to build 10 new Covid 19 crematoriums.
These crematoriums will come up in 23.5 acres of land
The Bengaluru urban and rural district administrations have handed over the land to the BBMP to construct these crematoriums.
According to the sources, these crematoriums were planned to be constructed at the time of the Covid 19 first wave. However, the BBMP slowed down the planning as cases started falling.
The state government issued directions to the officials to complete the land transfer formality at the earliest to ensure that the crisis will be resolved.
