RSS cannot be shaken by hundreds like Dinesh Gundu Rao: Eshwarappa-1

Bagalkot: The Bharatiya Janata Party MLA K S Eshwarappa has made scathing remarks against Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President Dinesh Gundu Rao, here on Monday, April 8.

Addressing the media here, he said that Dinesh’s allegation that the Lok Sabha tickets for the Bharatiya Janata Party candidates were allotted by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), was petty and just an election stunt.

Eshwarappa said, “RSS is an organization which teaches nationalism and help the youth inculcate such qualities. It is a life-teaching organisation and leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi who had spoken ill about the RSS, have never found success in life.”

Criticising Dinesh Gundu Rao he said, “He knows nothing about RSS and is a mean politician. RSS cannot be shaken even if hundred such people come.”

'CM HDK only worried about his son'

Commenting on Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy’s statement that the coalition partner Congress party was trying to defeat his son Nikhil Kumaraswamy, Eshwarappa said, “CM HDK must understand that this is a 'game' of politics and how it is played. It is common in this field that when one tries to grow, another will pull him down.”

He criticised HDK that he had no other worries but his son Nikhil Kumaraswamy’s victory in Mandya.

Eshwarappa said that because of his son’s campaigning, HDK had not visited Tumakuru and Hassan, from where his father and Janata Dal (S) Supremo H D Deve Gowda and his brother PWD Minister H D Revanna’s son Prajwal Revanna were contesting.

Terming HDK a useless CM, he ridiculed, “The reason that I used the term ‘useless’ was because he revealed about Income Tax raid information in advance. If he is offended by that term I will change my term to ‘CM of no use’ henceforth.”
