Bagalkot: BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel alleged that Congress leader and former CM Siddaramaiah is behind the arrest of his fellow party leader DK Shivakumar.
Speaking to the reporters in the city, Kateel stated that when the IT and the ED raided DKShi’s residences, Siddaramaiah was the Karnataka CM.
“He was aware of the raids and other developments. He didn’t try to help DKShi,” Kateel said.
He further added, “If we are engaged in revenge politics, the central agencies would have arrested DKShi before 2013 Karnataka assembly elections.”
Kateel also stated that the state and central governments are committed to providing support to flood-affected families.
