Housing minister Ambareesh: ’13Lacs houses for the landless’

Chikballapur: The Actor-politician and the housing minister Ambareesh during his visit to the residential area of various taluks under Chikballapur revealed that the state government has been initiating 13Lacs houses for the landless.

He further confirmed that the inhabited areas around the district are being surveyed, for development by the state government and necessary measures will be taken at the earliest.

Revealing the primarily done survey reports he said, “The state government has built 2Lac houses out of which 1, 96,000 are kept on hold, it is also known that the Chikballapur district under which five taluks have 5776 homeless people and 7907 landless people.”

The report also divulges that 465 houses have been already built under the Vajpayee housing scheme in 2011-12.

The housing minister Ambareesh assuring the residents of Chikballapur said that the survey will be conducted in the next five years under Vajpayee city housing scheme 2013 -14 there are almost 515 houses that will be provided to the landless.
