Kolar: The Karnataka High Court on Friday, June 7 morning, issued an arrest warrant against Kolar Superintendent of Police Dr. Rohini Sepat and later withdrew the order.
The court had issued the arrest warrant against the SP on charges of contempt of court. Reportedly, Dr. Rohini Sepat did not appear for the hearing of a land acquisition case. However, the court withdrew the arrest warrant, after the officer appeared before the judge on Friday afternoon and Advocate General Uday Holla requested the court to withdraw the warrant issued against her.
The HC had also issued arrest warrants against Kolar Sub Divisional Officer and Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department, in relation to the case.
The court has ordered Kolar Zilla Panchayat CEO to submit a detailed report, regarding the compensation amount to be given to the applicant on June 14.
