Kasargod: A woman was electrocuted after coming into contact with a broken live wire in Shedikavi on Wednesday, July 17.
The body was found with a live wire in hand by her relatives on Wednesday morning in the vicinity of the house. The deceased woman is Kalavathi (52), wife of Shedikavu resident Late Radhakrishna Maiya. She was living alone in the house. It is suspected that the mishap might have occurred while picking firewood, a little away from the house.
On Tuesday evening, she had responded to her children’s phone calls. The body was found after Kalavathi’s relatives conducted a search on Wednesday morning.
