Two women stealing documents from SP office nabbed

Kasargod: The Kasargod police have arrested 2 Tamil Nadu based women on charges of breaking into the old office of the Police Superintendent in Pilikunje and stealing important documents. The stolen documents have been retrieved from a scrap store in the city’s Karandakad.

The accused are identified as Parvathy (40) and Hamsavalli (30). Both the women hail from Salem in Tamil Nadu.

The two women who sell old and used items to scrape stores in the city broke into the old office of the Police Superintendent in the early hours of April 24, stole sacks of documents and transported them to the scrape store in an auto rickshaw. Various crime related documents were stolen along with the other papers.

The Kasargod police who registered a case regarding the matter have been successful in nabbing the culprits.
