Kasargod: In a collision between a tourist bus and a scooter, one student lost his life and two others were injured seriously, here on Tuesday, December 4. The accident occurred on the Kalnad Bridge.
The deceased is identified as Joan (15).
The seriously injured Arjun Ramesh (15) and Mubasheer (15) were taken to a private hospital in Mangaluru.
All the boys are students of Chattanchal Higher Secondary School.
The three were on a triple ride on a scooter in the morning during which a tourist bus, travelling towards Kasargod collided with the scooter.
Within seconds, the trio was thrown at a distance from their scooter.
Though Joan was taken to the hospital by the residents and passersby immediately, doctors declared him brought dead.
A case has been registered in the Bekal Police Station.
