Kasargod: Former President of India A P J Abdul Kalam once said, “Without your involvement, you can’t succeed. With your involvement, you can’t fail.” This has come true in the lives of four blind students. They have not only scored good marks in the SSLC board examination but also have excelled in extra-curricular activities.

The awesome foursomes are Bhavana Bhaskar from Panathady village, M Moovandi from Karivedakam village, H Sowmya from Kuttikol village and K Shwetha from Madikai village of Kasargod Government School for Blind.

The four have achieved first place with ‘A’ grade in the state level group singing competition.

They are being given education under the Inclusive Education for the Disabled (IED). They also have a special subject of computer training through which they are being given knowledge on technological aspects.

They have given their exams based on scribe system.
