Retired Nehru College principal’s house attacked with crude bomb

Kasargod: The house of retired Nehru College principal, P V Pushpaja was attacked by a crude bomb. As Pushpaja and family were in Kochi when the incident occurred, it came to light only on Sunday night, when they returned home. It is suspected that the incident occurred on Saturday night.

As the family was not in the house during the incident, no one was injured. The windows and walls of the two-story house, however, sustained damaged from the attack.

The remains of the crude bomb were found in the sit out area of the house.

The police were informed of the incident and senior officers visited the spot and carried out investigations.

Pushpaja had been away to inaugurate the Ayyappa Jyoti programme conducted by Sabarimala Samrakshana Samithi in Kalikadavu, Kasargod District.
