Kasargod: The Crime Branch police arrested another accused in the murder case of two youth Congress workers Krupesh and Sharath Lal in Kasargod.
The accused identified as Murali (36) from Echiladka, Kasargod was the car driver of Gangadhara who is a suspect in the case.
The police said that this was the first arrest after the crime branch took over the case. Murali had helped the accused to escape after committing the crime. Murali was arrested as per the information given by the accused who are already arrested.
CPM local committee leader Pitambaran and seven others were arrested in this connection.
On February 17 night in Periya Kalyot here, two youth Congress workers Krupesh and Sharath Lal were hacked to death by a group on the bike.
