Kasargod: A boy drowned in the sea with his classmates at Ballakadappura here on Thursday April 8 late evening.
The deceased has been identified as Ajmal (14), son of Zakaria of Vadagara Muk. On Thursday evening, he along with six of his classmates were swimming in the sea, while Ajmal was taken in by the waves and drowned.
The search for Jamal’s body body began Thursday evening and finally it was located around 11.00 am in the morning of Friday April 9. The body has been taken to the District Hospital for postmortem and post that it will be handed over to the family. The deceased Ajmal was a student of ninth standard at Hosadurga Higher Secondary School.
