Kasargod: The district administration has come up with system in place to make movement of people from Kasargod to Dakshina Kannada and vice-versa on daily basis hassle-free.
For this, data entry of the daily commuters will be taken up at Talapady, after which passes will be issued to commuters, informed Kasargod District Collector Dr Sajith Babu.
The applicants will have to first apply for the pass at Covid-19 Jagratha Portal under ‘regular pass category’.
The COVID-19 test report stating that the individual has been tested negative for the virus needs to be submitted to avail the pass.
The applicant needs to give details about the name of the company, name of the proprietor of the company, office address and ID card.
Once the data entry team uploads the details, the pass will be issued. The commuters will have to go through the process every week.
The movement between two districts was halted due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases.
