Kasargod: Kerala Revenue Minister E Chandrashekharan, during a district-level meeting, said that all precautionary measures need to be taken to stop the community spreading of Covid-19.
The meeting was held on Friday, June 5, at the Deputy Commissioner's office with regard to the handling of Covid-19 cases. He said, "In order to mitigate the Covid-19 cases, not only the government officials, but all of society should participate. Utmost care should be taken regarding those who return from abroad and other states, as more outsiders are testing positive. The ward-level vigilance committees should be more alert and educate the public in this regard. All political parties should cooperate with the government in handling the disease."
Deputy Commissioner Dr D Sajith Babu, Sub Collector Arun K Vijayan Superintendent of Police D Shilpa, Additional magistrate N Devidas, revenue officer Ahmed Kabeer, district information officer Madhusoodhan M and others were present.
