Peshawar: In what can be deemed as the bloodiest attack in Pakistan, 132 innocent children of the Army Public School in Peshawar fell prey to the ruthless Pakistani Taliban who wanted the government ‘to feel the pain’.

As the country condemned the carnage, the television channels were present when people affected by the tragedy and many others joined in to pay homage to the 141 innocent lives.

No soul could stay immune to the barbaric and heinous attack that shook the country, let alone the media covering the attack. The television anchor, Sanam Baloch, broke down as she was presenting The Morning Show on ARY News.

“What is the point of our sitting with these candles? Tomorrow we will again be sitting with more lighted candles. There is nothing we can do. Today I have lost all hope. There is nothing I can say,” she said as she sobbed.
