Udupi: Deputy Commissioner of Udupi district, R Vishal has been transferred to Bengaluru as the Director of Municipal Administration.
CEO of Udupi Zilla Panchayat, Priyanka Mary Francis has been given charge of the post of Deputy Commissioner of Udupi district until further orders.
Dr Vishal had taken charge of the district on November 5, 2014. During his tenure as the DC, the work at the Revenue Department and the implementation of various infrastructure projects was taking place at a fast pace.
Dr Vishal was one among of 26 IAS officers the government transferred on Friday.
