Udupi: Lord Krishna’s home Udupi is all set to celebrate Krishna Janmashtami in a grand manner and with this, popular television channel Muktha TV is hearing up to host Udupi Habba – a cultural fest.
‘Udupi Habba’ is an one-day cultural extravaganza, which will be held at Jayakrishna Hall in Hotel Mathura, Udupi on Sunday, September 10 at around 8 am. An array of events will be held on this day to live the spirit of Janmashtami.
A fancy dress competition for kids-‘Muddu Radhe, Muddu Krishna’ has been chalked out for kids below 10 years of age. The event will be held from 8am to 3 pm in two categories-for kids between 1-5 years and for kids between 5 to 10 years.
Registration has started for the event and it has been receiving good response. Winners of the competition will be given cash prize, a memento and also attractive prizes.
Participants should confirm about their participation by September 8 by registering names over phone, stated Muktha TV Managing Director Suresh Rao Kokkada.
